(Junior) Operations (m/f/d)

As Operation Import/Export you are responsible for incoming orders. You will coordinate and manage the orders from booking to final delivery to the consignee and contribute to the further development of our sea/air/rail freight processes.

Your Tasks

• Direct support and advice to customers regarding the entire logistics process
• Management of air shipments from booking to invoicing
• Communication and coordination with important partners
• Preparation and documentation of manual quota arrangements for the disposition of transport orders
• Quality assurance and optimization through the collection and analysis of customer data and the identification of potential for further automation and processing of complaints
• In import: customs clearance (clearance for free circulation / transit clearance - NCTS)
• In export: Cargo space bookings and document check for dangerous goods of sea/air/rail freight exports
• Preparation of the air waybill (AWB)

Your Profile

• You already have practical experience in import and export for sea/air/rail shipments
• You have completed training as a forwarding merchant and / or studies in a relevant field
• Alternatively also lateral entrants with corresponding experience in airfreight handling
• Your working method is very data-oriented and neat
• You have excellent communication and organisational skills
• You have a high degree of motivation and the ability to work in a dynamic and demanding team You are open-minded and enjoy dealing with customers You have a proactive understanding of work and analytical skills
• You speak business fluent Mandarine and have a good command of English
